Manjeet Chillar Birth & Early Life
Manjeet Chhillar was born on 18th August 1986 in Nizampur, a small village in Haryana. His father, Jai Prakash, was employed with the Haryana Police. He had a disciplined childhood but had enough freedom to enjoy the fun and amusements of growing up. Manjeet grew up dreaming of becoming a Wrestler. He even practiced hard and championed many of the traditional wrestling moves. But in a game, Manjeet Chillar was badly injured and suffered a broken nose. The injury was so bad that it ended his wrestling career. And then he decided to come back home.
As a respite from the sadness, the young boy started playing Kabaddi with the boys in his neighborhood. After that, he practiced and got success in his Game.
Pro Kabaddi Career
In the opening season of the PKL, the player was bagged by Bengaluru Bulls where he earns 51 tackle points and 71 raid points. The club Bengaluru Bulls retains him for season 2 too where he picks up 40 tackle points and 67 raid points.
Manjeet season 3 and season 4 of the game, Puneri Paltan bags him. Chillar in season 3 was the captain of the team and scored 61 tackle points and 45 raid points. He scores 44 tackle points and 24 raid points in season 4.
In season 5 of the PKL, he becomes a part of the Jaipur Pink Panthers. As a part of the team, he manages to score 47 tackle points and 5 raid points.
Tamil Thalaivas bag him for season 6 and season 7. Manjeet, In Season 6 he scores 59 tackle points and 8 raid points. He bags 37 tackle points and 4 raid points.
