Early life and Education
Porinju Veliyath was born on 26 June 1962 in Kerala, India. He belongs to a very poor family. His father was a farmer and his mother is a Housewife. In 1978, they sold their house to get rid of loans. He bought the same house and converted it into a big farmhouse where he does farming and looks after his birds and animals.
He married Litty Veliyath and this couple now has a daughter Shilpa Veliyath and a Son Sunny Veliyath.
Porinju did his graduation with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Government Law College in Ernakulam. At the earlier stage of his age, the family income was not enough to satisfy their basic needs then he decided to get a job along with his study to help his family. Porinju started a job in the firm as an accountant when he was just 16 years old with a Salary of Rs. 1000. At that time, The salary was not enough and he didn’t get any job with a good salary in his home town Kochi then he decided to move to Mumbai for getting a good job. He already completed his graduation from Kochi with working for few jobs.
